You’re on the Planet!
You’re on the LuLu Blog page. Did you want our Home page?
Happiness — so this is where you wanna be. Cool! Glad to have you here. If the LuLu-store is open, swing in and shop. If we’re in between sales, our Blog will give you tons of scoop and lots of LuLu merch-info.
Planet LuLu shopping isn’t just about saving (you) money — it’s about whopper value. Say huh? Let’s conjure that you find an amazing dress on sale at… errr, Barney’s (yes, one of LuLu’s favorite stores). The retail price on that dress is, $1,450.00. Yikes! But it’s on sale! Now it’s only $750.00. That’s a solid deal. You’re saving money.
But in a janky economy, is a $750.00 dress a great value? Semantics? Not in my book.
A great value? A $220 dress snagged for $59. Plus, a scarf, another dress, a Splendid top, a pair of Joe’s Jeans, a Joie skirt, earrings and a cutie handbag for lots less than the sale price of that one “on sale” dress.
That’s whopper value! That’s 500,000 Scoville units, whopper!
Am I on another planet with this one? Is my logic skewed? I dunno. Making sense is important to me; having a real story to back up what I say, think or feel. The way I grew up — and I grew up going to sample sales in New York — going home with a lot of really cute wearables was, for me, a thrill. Getting the best price was a given. These days, I’m even more dedicated to value, not just how many actual dollars I’ve saved. I have a dog and fish to feed, not to mention my Whole Foods, fresh Tamales, and moderate sushi addiction. I have my priorities!
Planet LuLu was always about value, from day one. Yeah, I still want that $1,450.00 dress that’s on sale, and if and when I can afford it, I’ll buy it. Count me in. But until that day — give me a shop-bag of stuffed with every-day wearables, any day.
Lot’s more LuLu stories come’n. See you on the Planet…

Good he needs to be off the streets, but please take that awful picture of Paris down, now after the Dr. Murray scam pic. yesterday this may not even be Paris.
Hi, Anna here. I totally believe what you said in the first subsection, but I can’t say that I trust the entire post in general.
Ciao, I was actually astounded this morning as I saw your blog post in my feed reader. This is just what I was trying to find, I even forwarded this to my pal. Cheers! Anne
