Welp, I’m standing on a (polished) concrete floor in the LuLu warehouse. My legs are pressed up against a portable electric heater, I’m wrapped in a cashmere scarf,  tucked into a pair of lined Wellies, and  squished under a beanie cap — while tap-tapping into the computer — and I’m still bleep’n cold. Yeeesh, I need a Snuggie, or an equatorial vacation.

LuLu loves Tyra. We’re sad to see her go, but we were delighted to have been on the show! A celebrity-guy I met on the Tyra set called me for a week, then, pooof, gone; just not that remotely into-me. I told my dad about this and he said, “if he had a lot of hair (on his head), don’t trust him. Now that’s wisdom!

Yep. Pop-in to Barney’s, Saks and prepare to spend hundred’s on JLee! I now own five items in her line and am over-the-moon. Moon, I say! Nab JLee samples at LuLu and save tons!

Dang! We sold out of our skinny leg, basic Joes Jeans in the first hour of the last LuLu sale. We promised we’d have more, and we do. They’re $179 – $189 at retail. Snap’um up for $49.00 at LuLu. Be speedy!

Oooh. And unlike most of the invite-only sales that have popped up like raisins in a bowl of bran, we do take returns on denim if they don’t fit, perfect-like! Dig that!

Buying clothing for Planet LuLu, I’m traveling a lot these wintery days. I had the delight-pleasure of meeting the owner of a new, very hip, very smart, very clever forthcoming online store called, JouBop.com — pronounced, (jouxBop).

The store opens in February 2010. I got a solid demo of how it all works, and it’s… cool. I’d have to say, it may just re-define how jewelry — from around the planet — will be presented and sold.
